The Project Manager will oversee complex software engineering and systems integration projects from concept and qualifications through development, testing and deployment. Responsibilities Manage large-scale technology development projects and business transformation initiatives Work with our clients leadership, staff and stakeholders to adopt and adhere to best practices in project management Evaluate, recommend and implement effective and appropriate project management and communication tools, including collaborative project management technology Work with project teams to elicit qualifications and document desired outcomes of assigned projects Develop and manage work plans that encompass the vision, scope, and specific deliverables of assigned projects Ensure adherence to project timelines, highlighting risks and collaborating with project teams and the companys management to resolve. Prepare and present proposals, status reports and presentations Create and maintain project documentation to comply with grant qualifications and relevant regulatory agencies. Participate in testing and QA activities as needed to maintain project schedules and audit deliverables Qualifications Masters Degree preferably in Healthcare Administration or Public Health preferred Certified Project Manager PMIPMP preferred 5 yrs background in healthcare systems integration 2-5 yrs project managerial experience Knowledge of agile software engineering methodologies Large system integration background wanted Working expertise of New York State healthcare system payor, provider, federal with background in clinical implementation, healthcare data exchange, Medicare, Medicaid Strong analytical , verbal and writing skills MS Project expert, strong Ms excel skills Demonstrated expertise to manage diverse, geographically dispersed project teams Expertise to thrive in a fast-paced, highly-collaborative environmentListing originally posted at http
