Summary StatementThe Advancement Director develops and coordinates fundraising strategies and directs all fundraising efforts, including the day-to-day operations of the school's Development office. The Director is principally responsible for devleoping, Directing and executing strategic fundraising programs with special emphasis on raising major individual gifts and foundation and other institiutional support for operating and capital purposes. The Director is responsible for events, direct mail and other fundraising initiatives. The Director also has school marketing and public relations/communications responsibilities and serves as a member for the Leaderhip Team working closely with the President and other directors.The Director provides leadership for major donations for the school. He/she will develop, foster and maintain strong relationships with the institutional and high net worth philanthropic communities. RequirementsThe perfect applicant will have significant senior level background in development and a successful record of fundraising, managing professional staff and soliciting major gifts; exceptional interpersonal, organizational and analytical abilities; expertise to develop and impleent strategic plans.
